Brian is an electrician by day, and a sim racer and RC builder by night. His RC crawling obsession started in 2019 with a scx10.2 Honcho and quickly spiraled out of control to a collection of over 50 rigs. Brian is very involved in the competition side of RC crawling and the majority of his rigs are based on performance. His favorite part of this hobby is building rigs and helping others build their own rigs. Brian is always ready to answer questions or help tweak a build.

Chris Ezagui

Chris is a welder in the Plumbers Union and works at Willis Hobbies on weekends. Although his interest in RC began in early childhood, his enthusiasm for competitive driving started at Motorama in 2019. Building rigs, learning new skills, helping others, and being part of the community are some of the reasons he enjoys this sport. His other hobbies include sim racing, cigar smoking and long walks on the beach.

Tim Mynatt

Tim's big kid job is being a mechanic, a role that has fueled his passion for building. Since 2010, he has found joy in indulging his inner child within the crawling community, where he actively builds, creates, and competes alongside both new enthusiasts and seasoned crawlers. His participation in competitions has allowed him to travel extensively and forge a connections with like-minded individuals who share his enthusiasm. Despite being a multi-trophy winner, Tim humbly admits to being a better driver than his girlfriend, while acknowledging the potential for her son to challenge him and others in the future.

Zac Carey

Zac's interest in the competitive side of RC began in 2022, although he has been intermittently involved in the hobby since childhood. He finds greater enjoyment in building than driving, particularly relishing the opportunity to design and 3D print his own parts. Zac is gradually exploring the realm of WRCCA rigs, expanding his expertise and knowledge. Passionate about promoting the hobby, he actively encourages others to join and willingly assists both friends and competitors by keeping spare parts handy to ensure everyone stays on track.

Jeremy Gilleland

Jeremy Gilleland is a skilled team driver for LIRC & More, competing in classes 1, 2, and 3. He drives a TGH H.O.G. in class 1 and a Brazin Pacesetter on SCX10 pro portal axles in class 2. Jeremy's achievements include a top 10 finish in trail class at Crawlapalooza and a recent 7th place in class 2 at the 2024 Colorado State Championship. As a team driver with his son Ethan, Jeremy values the camaraderie within the LIRC community. Follow his journey on his Youtube Channel Red Dirt RC Crawlers. When not competing across the country, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his family and playing Magic: The Gathering.

Ethan Gilleland

At just 15 years old, Ethan Gilleland has quickly made a name for himself in the RC crawler world as a team driver for LIRC & More. Despite only 1.5 years of experience, Ethan competes skillfully in classes 1, 2, and 3. He drives a C1 TGH H.O.G. in class 1 and a King Of The South (K.O.T.S) Chassis on AR45P axles in class 2. Ethan's impressive record includes top 20 finishes at Crawlapalooza in trail and modified classes, and a stellar 5th place in Class 2 at the 2024 Colorado State Championships. When not traveling to competitions with his father Jeremy, Ethan enjoys rock music and video games.

RJ Shmaruk

RJ works as a forklift mechanic during the day, but his passion lies in running the Facebook group East Coast Tiny Truckin’ and co-managing Team BrokeassCrawlers alongside his friend, Zac Carey. Always interested in the RC world, RJ reignited his involvement in 2020 and has since immersed himself in competitive RC crawling. He is currently engaged in multiple builds including a SORRCA Class 3, a WRCCA Pro, and both Class 2 and 3 rigs for RCMCCA competitions. For RJ, the thrill of building and competing initially captivated him, but he finds equal joy in sharing the hobby with his youngest son. He is dedicated to nurturing the RC community for future generations, emphasizing the values of learning, building, tweaking, competing, and forging lasting friendships along the way. RJ takes pride in his role as a Team Driver for Team LIRC, embodying his commitment to the RC community and its growth.

James Moe

James is a career firefighter in Maryland. Although he is an adrenaline junky, the RC crawling world offers him a way to escape and decompress from his busy and stressful work schedule. James started out in the micro world and quickly grew into 1/10 scale. He competes in local events at Key City Hobby and White Rose Hobbies. When he is not comping or building crawlers, you can find him enjoying a cigar with friends or waiting for those cool crisp fall mornings in the woods to shoot his bow.
