Castle’s roots are in the remote control hobby industry, since 1997 we have been making the motors and controllers that power enthusiasts’ RC cars, helis, planes and boats.  The principles that helped us grow from one man with a desire for "something better" are still our driving force.

Our products are now used by customers from NASA to NASCAR, Castle’s the worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of three phase DC motors and controllers.  Our product line covers applications requiring up to 10HP in a handheld package.  Combining state-of-the-art technologies and high volume manufacturing at our Olathe, KS. Headquarters, we have supplied over 1M electronic speed controllers globally.

Our success is attributed to diverse engineering talent, years of iterative improvements in firmware and control algorithms, and passionate and dedicated staff who are committed to setting the industry standard.

Our power is no secret, our systems power military and public safety drones, they crank the fuel pumps in NASCAR and F1 vehicles and we power the on-board water pumps in firefighting helicopters. 

In 2019, Castle was acquired by Pivot International. We move into the new decade with a renewed dedication to accelerating and expanding our product offerings and providing unparalleled service and support.
